1. Acceptance of Terms
By using RightPerson, you agree to these terms of service. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.
2. Description of Service
RightPerson is a marketplace connecting customers with freelance professionals. We provide escrow services, payment processing, and dispute resolution.
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under it.
4. Payment Terms
Customers agree to fund escrow before work begins. Funds are held by Stripe and released according to project status and our dispute resolution process.
5. Platform Fee
RightPerson charges a 15% platform fee (minimum $100) on all projects. This fee is non-refundable except in cases where we determine a refund is appropriate.
6. Dispute Resolution
Either party may raise a dispute. RightPerson administrators review disputes and make binding decisions about fund distribution. Our decisions are final.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use RightPerson for:
- Illegal activities
- Circumventing escrow (off-platform payments)
- Harassment or abuse
- Fraud or misrepresentation
8. Limitation of Liability
RightPerson is not liable for the quality of work delivered by freelancers or for customer conduct. We provide dispute resolution but do not guarantee outcomes.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
